My name is Alexander Ng, and I am excited to introduce myself as a quiet but friendly, technical guy who works in IT as an end-user computing engineer with a passion for everything IT-related, including Raspberry Pi, phones, and gaming laptops.

As an end user computing engineer, my main responsibility is to ensure that employees in my organization have the necessary hardware and software to perform their job functions effectively. I also troubleshoot any issues that arise with their laptops, and other devices. I have also successfully implemented new hardware and software solutions that have improved employee productivity and streamlined processes, especially introducing MacBook into the company as part of the corporate laptop for employees! I have also received positive feedback from my colleagues for my exceptional customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.

Outside of work, I am a true tech enthusiast. I love tinkering with Raspberry Pi projects and experimenting with different software applications on Rasbian Lite using CLI and docker. I find great satisfaction in figuring out complex technical problems and coming up with innovative solutions.

Overall, I am a passionate about technology. My technical skills combined with my interest in IT-related topics make me a valuable asset in any IT-related project. I am always willing to learn and eager to take on new challenges.

In conclusion, with my qualifications and experience, I am confident that I can contribute positively to any IT-related project.

Experience

16 years of working experience doesn’t make it easy, but life goes on and you live with what you get.

Qualifications

I have graduated with a diploma in aviation management as I am passionate about the aviation industry! And while that is my interest, my main interest is actually in technology. Although I do not have a bachelor’s degree in IT, I do have several years of experience working in IT. I have experience working with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS and certain Linux distrubutions. I am also familiar with a variety of software applications, including Microsoft on-prem and cloud suites, JAMF products, Visual Studio Code, etc. However, that will change soon, as I’m currently pursuing a part-time bachelorโ€™s degree in IT! More good news to come!
